Sunny Island Off-Grid Inverters
The Sunny Island range of Inverters offer you excellent first class possibilities in the installation of self-sufficient energy systems. In conjunction with a battery pack the devices form a self-sufficient AC voltage grid, which meets with the highest of quality standards.
In the Sunny Island System, electricity generators and consumers are integrated in equal measure. PV and wind energy systems, diesel devices, water or CHP (Combined Heat and Power) can be coupled on the AC side just as conventional 230 Volt consumers.
Thus the Sunny Island range offer you two decisive advantages: at system planning and layout you can enjoy the highest degree of flexibility, during installation the complex DC cabling is not required.
| Sunny Island SI-2012 & 2224 The New Sunny Island 2012 and 2224 extends the product range for the lower power sector. The new devices not only include the well-known features of the big brother Sunny Island 5048 but with lower weight and reduced size make these new inverters even easier to handle and install. Back to topSunny Island SI-5048This powerful inverter/charger for stand-alone or grid back-up operation which can be stacked in clusters for high power levels in both single and three phase networks. High power (up to 6.5kW for 30 min); high efficiency (> 95%); low standby & idle consumption (25W/4W).
Designed for rough ambient conditions. OptiCool system gives high power in temperatures up to 40ºC by cooling the encapsulated transformer but keeping air ventilation away from coated circuit boards & electronics to ensure high protection for humid or salty atmospheres.
Includes two free programmable relays per unit to enable load shedding or other use and timers to enable daily, weekly, or monthly functions.
Integrated MMC/SD memory card reader to enable updates, transferring of parameter settings, for storing error/events lists , or data logging.
In stacked cluster or multi-cluster systems all settings are made at the main unit which gives automatic setting of parameters in slave units allowing easy programming and update.

Multicluster Boxes
Simple setup of stand-alone and hybrid systems
Large off-grid systems with only a little effort: the new Multicluster Boxes for the Sunny Island 5048 are the ideal solution for the easy installation of stand-alone and hybrid systems from 30 to 100 kW. For this, two to four 3-phase clusters, each consisting of 3 Sunny Islands, are connected in parallel. Multicluster Boxes were specially developed for these systems as the AC main distribution unit with integrated generator and load contactors. To simplify installation, all Multicluster Boxes are completely wired and fitted at the factory with a main connector for PV or wind generators. All communication cables necessary for the installation are included with standard delivery. - 3 different sizes from 30 to 110 kW

Smart Load 6000The Smart Load is the ideal addition to unregulated power generators in stand-alone grids, for example, small wind energy systems equipped with passive stall power control.
In the event of an electricity surplus, the Smart Load feeds the surplus to special loads, for example, heating cartridges in a hot water tank. The energy quantity at which the Smart Load automatically switches on can be freely programmed using the grid frequency. This continuous and rapid power extraction is a unique function that provides optimum protection for the system components and ensures added reliability. Smart Loads can be combined and operated in parallel. The Smart Load SL 6000 can be installed as desired in either single or 3 phase AC coupled stand-alone grids.
