The Fronius IG series has proven itself to be powerful, user-friendly and highly reliable. Equipped for every size of PV system, especially for smaller systems (e.g. on the roof of one-family houses). The combination of different types available for selection is limitless. The ingenious processor control combined with the powerful HF transformer extracts the maximum energy yield from all types of modules.

Fronius IG 40 / 60HV - The Powerhouse

Higher yield due to work-sharing is achieved by linking the two power circuits using the MIX™ concept, our optimised master-slave system. In the part-load range only one of the two power stage sets operates, while both work together at full-load. The advantages are a noticeable increase in yield with a simultaneous reduction in operating hours. As the input voltage range of the Fronius IG 60 has been expanded from the former 500 V to 530 V, longer module strings can be connected. Due to this improvement, the product name changed from “Fronius IG 60” to “Fronius IG 60 HV”. “HV” stands for “High Voltage”.

Fronius IG Central Inverters-The Solar Power Station

IG central inverters are suitable for pv systems starting with an AC output power of 24 kW through to 40kWp and work with a completely new system configuration. There is not only one power stack converting the electricity but also 9, 12 to 15 printed circuit boards that share the work, depending on the output class. The reason for this is that it is well-known that the energy yield increases in part-load areas if smaller power stacks are operated at higher capacity. Therefore, every Fronius IG central inverter works with several smaller power stacks that switch on or off completely automatically depending on irradiance so that they can always deliver maximum power.

For the first time there is a combination of an efficient sinewave inverter and a proven solar charge controller in one device. The perfect solution for 220V stand-alone systems. The completely new product features: exact state of charge display and charge-dependent load decrease also for AC loads.

Of course, the inverter is also available as a stand-alone version for non-photovoltaik applications. With triple overload ability for safe starting of critical loads and three operating conditions for all applications.
